Description
Green Farmhouse is an 18th century red brick house, likely incorporating an earlier core and rear section. At the back, there is a timber-framed and plastered wing. The house is two storeys high and features a five-window range with double-hung sashes that have glazing bars, all set in flush cased frames. A raised brick band runs between the two storeys. The central entrance has a six-panel door and is sheltered by a porch that was originally a portico. The roof is tiled, hipped at the north end, and has a wooden eaves cornice with modillions grouped in fours above the windows. On the south end, there is a lower timber-framed and plastered wing with two windows on the ground floor and one on the first floor. Green Farmhouse, along with all the listed buildings on The Street, forms a group.
