Description

Silver Farmhouse is an early 19th century red brick house located on the south-east side of The Street in Stoke by Clare. The building is two storeys high and features a three-window range with double-hung sash windows that have glazing bars, set in painted reveals. At the center, there is a six-panel door topped by a rectangular fanlight, framed by a wood doorcase that includes panelled reveals, slender columns, and a cornice. The roof is covered with slate. Silver Farmhouse is part of a group of listed buildings that includes Green Farmhouse on The Green (Lower).
