Description

The Lion Inn is a 18th century building with a plastered front, likely part of a 17th century timber-framed house. It has two storeys and features a three-window range with double-hung sashes that include glazing bars, all set in flush cased frames. The central entrance is a six-panel door framed by a wood doorcase that has pilasters and a cornice hood supported by paired brackets. The roof is hipped and tiled. At the rear, there is a wing, and a later addition extends at the north-east end. The Lion Inn is part of a group of listed buildings located on The Street, which includes Green Farmhouse and The Green (Lower).
