Description
No 11 on Church Street is an 18th-century brick house featuring a front made of blue bricks with red brick dressings. The building has two storeys and attics, with a five-window range that includes double-hung sashes with glazing bars set in flush cased frames, all topped with gauged brick segmental arches. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door, with the upper panels glazed, and is adorned with a flat cornice hood. The roof is tiled and includes two hipped dormers along with a wooden eaves cornice. At the rear, there is a small wing that also has one hipped dormer. The house has undergone alterations and renovations in the 20th century. No 11 is part of a group that includes Nos 54A, 54, and 56.
