Description

No. 30 East Street is a 18th-century house built from red and blue brick. It has two storeys and attics, featuring a five-window range with double-hung sash windows that have glazing bars in flush cased frames. A raised brick band runs between the storeys. The central entrance has a six-panel door framed by a Doric doorcase, which includes fluted pilasters, a triglyph frieze, and a dentilled pediment. The roof is tiled, with stopped end gables and a modillion eaves cornice at the front. There is a later addition of lower storey height extending at the west end, along with modern additions at the rear.
