Description

Nos 47 and 49 on Wood Street are 18th-century houses featuring a facade made of red brick with a stone rubble plinth. The western gable end is coped, and there is an eaves cornice along the top of the building, which has an old tiled roof. The structure is two storeys high and has a total of three windows. No 47 has modern casements set within 18th-century frames and a modern door on the side. No 49 features a three-light barred casement window on the first floor, with modern glazing below and a side plank door. These houses are adjacent to Nos 51 and 53 and are included for their group value.
