Description

Nos 19 and 21 on Newport Street are 18th century buildings with an early 19th century front elevation. They are two storeys tall, constructed of red brick featuring tumbled brickwork on the gable ends and brick coping, topped with a pantile roof. The façade includes three flush windows, with two hung sash windows and one modern window. On the ground floor, there are two windows with rusticated lintels and keystones, and they do not have glazing bars. The entrance features a pair of panelled doors set in panelled reveals, framed by a combined surround of modified Doric pilasters and an entablature. Nos 15 to 21 (odd) form a group.
