Description
Nos 32 and 34 on High Street are 18th-century buildings that stand two storeys tall, constructed from painted brick. They feature a steep pantile roof with rendered stacks and a diagonal set brick eaves cornice. The front has three windows, one of which is blocked. The window to the right is a modern casement, while the window to the left is in a moulded surround and has no glazing bars. On the ground floor, there are two windows with rendered lintels, along with doors; the door to No. 34 has six panels, and the door to No. 32 is modern. These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos 32 to 44 (even), 64-70 (even), and the Red Lion Public House, with Nos 68, 70, and the Red Lion being of local interest only.
