Description

This is an early 19th-century building on the south side of High Street. It is two storeys high, constructed of brick with a pantile roof. The roof features a dormer window and a wooden eaves cornice. The front has two windows on the upper floor and one on the ground floor. The windows have rusticated lintels topped with keystones. The doorway has panelled reveals and a half-glazed panelled door, accompanied by a rectangular fanlight and a rusticated lintel with a more prominent keystone. The building is included as part of a larger group; numbers 49 to 59 (odd), 59A, and 61 to 75 (odd) form this group, although numbers 59, 59A, and 61 are of local interest only.
