Description
64 and 66 High Street are 18th-century buildings that stand two storeys high, featuring a roughcast exterior and a pantile roof with a dentil eaves cornice. They have a plinth and four windows that are hung sashes with glazing bars and moulded cases. The ground floor includes two canted bays with pilaster mullions and glazing bars, along with one window that does not have glazing bars. The entrance door is made up of six panels and has a radiating fanlight with a panelled reveal, all framed by an open pediment surround. There are three steps leading up to the door. These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos. 32 to 44 (even), 64 to 70 (even), and the Red Lion Public House, with Nos. 68 and 70 and the Red Lion being of local interest only.
