Description

No 77 on High Street is an early 19th century house that was refronted in the mid-19th century. It is two storeys tall and constructed of painted brick, topped with a pantile roof. The building features three windows, which do not have glazing bars, and has carved rusticated lintels with mask keystones. There are two windows on the ground floor. The entrance is highlighted by a pedimented doorcase with narrow pilasters, leading to a six-panel door, two of which are glazed. No 77 is part of a group with Nos 77A and 79 to 83 (odd), which are of local interest only.
