Description

This is an early 19th century building on the south side of High Street. It comprises four bays, originally with a pantile roof and lion's mask guttering. The building is constructed of brick and features two storeys. The windows are hung sashes, with glazing bars to the lower three, and rendered lintels above. The upper three windows lack glazing bars. There are three doors with six panels each, surmounted by rectangular fanlights and lintels. A round-headed passage entry features a rendered head with a keystone, double doors, and wooden fanlight bars. The building forms a group with numbers 49 to 59 (odd), 59A, and 61 to 75 (odd), of which numbers 59, 59A and 61 are of local interest only.
