Description

Nos 49 and 50 on Quay Street are late 18th century, two-storey buildings made of red brick with pantile roofs. They feature an eaves soffit and a plinth. Each building has six sash windows with flush frames and flat arches; No 50 retains its glazing bars, while No 49 has only central glazing bars. The entrance to No 49 has a modern door, while No 50 has a six-panel door with wooden doorcases that include panelled pilasters, a reeded frieze, and a dentil cornice. Nos 47 to 57, along with Nos 1 and 2, form a group.
