Description

Nos 47 and 48 on Quay Street are late 18th-century buildings that stand two stories tall with an attic. They are constructed of red brick and feature six full-height brick pilasters and a plinth. The buildings have wide plastered eaves with a bed-mould. The roof is hipped and covered with slate. On the first floor, there are six flush frame sash windows with glazing bars and flat arches. The central entrances consist of six-panel doors set in solid frames within reveals, topped with arched radial bar fanlights. Nos 47 to 57 (consecutive) and Nos 1 and 2 form a group.
