Description

These are two late 18th or early 19th century houses on Quay Street. They are three stories high and built of painted brick, with wide boarded eaves and a pantile roof. A plinth runs along the base. The front facade has three windows and two blank panels, featuring sash windows with glazing bars, flush frames, and flat arches. The entrances feature four-panel doors with plain architraves, consoles, and cornice hoods.

A garden entrance is set into a red brick wall to the left, rising to 12 feet in height with a cope and plinth. This entrance includes a five-panel door, Doric panelled pilasters, an entablature with triglyphs, and square brick piers. The ground floor windows now have only centre glazing bars.

Numbers 6 to 8 are grouped together visually.
