Description
No. 36 Wood Street and 2, Court 22 is a building dating from the 18th century, with a possible earlier core. It features a stone plinth and is constructed of red brick, topped with an eaves cornice and an old tiled roof. The building is two and a half storeys high and has large off-centre and end chimneys. The north gable has two small casement windows. The main facade, facing east, includes three late 18th century to early 19th century casement windows, with the ground floor windows having cambered head linings. There is a central entrance at the rear, where some timbering is visible inside, along with one door and an additional blocked northern door.
