Description

Nos 17 and 17A on Upper Church Street are late 18th century to early 19th century cottages. They are constructed of red brick and feature a brick eaves cornice along with an old tiled roof. The buildings are two storeys high and have two windows on the upper floor, which have modern glazing. One of the lower windows retains a cambered head lining but also has modern glazing. There is a small window in what was once a door space. A modern door is located on the north side, while the south side has an arched entrance leading to the rear. These cottages are included for their group value.
