Description

Nos 21 and 23 Upper Church Street are two cottages dating from the 18th century. They feature a facade of red brick, although No 21 is rendered. The cottages have an old tiled roof and a large off-centre chimney. They are two storeys high and have a total of three windows. The early 19th century casements with glazing bars are located above, while the ground floor windows are similar but have modern glazing. No 21 has a modern door, whereas No 23 has a panelled door with the top two sections now glazed, set in a cambered head frame. There is also a segmental arched entrance at the rear.
