Description
No. 25 Upper Church Street is a large house built in the late 18th century or early 19th century. It features a stucco facade with a plinth and wide eaves, and has a roof with coped gable ends. The building stands three storeys tall and has four windows, most of which are sashes with glazing bars and dripstone moulds. On the ground floor, two of the windows are a three-light sash, while one is blank. The entrance is highlighted by a pedimented doorcase with fluted brackets and pilasters, and includes a round arched fanlight. The door itself has four panels with moulded edges, with the top two now glazed. This corner building has a return with a double span roof, while the rear is lower.
