Description

This building comprises two early to mid-19th century properties on Upper Church Street. It is constructed of red brick with a brick plinth and a stucco band running along the sill of the first-floor windows. The roof is slate, and a moulded wooden eaves cornice, supported by brackets, runs along the top of the building. The front has two storeys and four windows, featuring barred sash windows beneath incised stucco lintels with keystones. Two round-arched entrances have stucco archivolts, keystones, and impost bands. The fanlight above the entrance to No. 13 is also round-arched. The properties are included on the list for their group value.
