Description

The property at 41 and 43 High Street dates to the early 19th century. It is a two storey building constructed of red brick, with a slate roof. The facade is finished with stucco. The front features two sash windows on each floor, set within plain stucco architraves surmounted by segmental pediments resting on consoles. The second-floor windows also have sill brackets. Stucco quoins mark the sides of the building, and the eaves are finished with stucco modillions. The building has modern shop fronts. It is included on the list for its group value.
