Description
The Barley Mow Hotel, a public house, is an early 19th-century building constructed from painted brick, which incorporates an earlier 17th-century timber frame. It stands three storeys tall and features four sash windows, with the first-storey windows having single glazing bars and shallow segmental heads. The building has a moulded cornice at the first floor and corbelled brick eaves, topped with tiles. The inn front was added in the later 19th century. Although the interior has been altered, it retains exposed ceiling timbers throughout.
