Description

79 Birmingham Road is a late 18th-century building featuring a front made of red brick and a timber-framed structure. The sides, back, and right wing are finished in stucco, with the first floor extending out beneath the gable. The building has two storeys and includes five sash windows with glazing bars, each with stucco lintels and keyblocks, along with a casement window on the right. The entrance features a door with a traceried oblong fanlight, set within a surround that has a frieze and cornice supported by consoles. There is a rusticated elliptical arch above the loft, and a stone plinth on the right. Additionally, there is a canted bay with a first-floor casement window on the west side elevation. Nos 75 to 79 (odd) are part of a group.
