Description
No 1 Butcher's Lane is a building dating from the 18th century, featuring a red brick facade that covers an earlier timber-framed structure. It has two storeys and an old tiled roof, with casement windows. The entrance includes a five-fielded panelled door that is situated beneath a cut bracketed hood. This building, along with No 3, forms a group with Nos 72 to 76 Birmingham Road, which includes front garden gates and railings to No 74 and a barn to No 76.
