Description

A range of two dwellings, originally a single house, incorporating a 20th-century shop front to the left of the frontage. The property dates to the late 18th century, with 19th- and 20th-century alterations. The exterior is red brick, with some areas refaced in whitewashed render. It features a tall brick chimney with a corbelled cap and a plain tiled roof. The building is two storeys high and has three bays, marked by a first-floor band. Modern door and window joinery is present. The listing acknowledges the group value of the property in its setting.

It is included for group value together with numbers 72 to 76 (even), front garden gates and railings to number 74, and a barn to number 76 Birmingham Road, Allesley.
