Description

The front garden gates and railings to Number 74 on Birmingham Road date from the late 18th century or early 19th century. They are made of cast iron and feature spearheads and urns, with anthemion finials on either side of the gates. These gates and railings are included in the listing for their group value, as they contribute to the architectural character of the area alongside Numbers 72 to 76 and the barn to Number 76, forming a cohesive group with Numbers 1 and 3 Butcher's Lane.
