Description

43 New Street is an early 19th-century building featuring a two-storey facade with five windows. The exterior is finished in painted stucco. The sash windows have moulded architraves, with the ground floor windows being particularly tall and topped with cornices. To the right, there is a splay bay, and to the left, there are panelled double doors leading to a passageway underneath. The central entrance has been altered and includes a fanlight. Ogee brackets are present at the eaves. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 17 to 23 (odd) and Nos 31, 33, and 43.
