Description

31 and 33 New Street are two-storey buildings dating from 1735, located on the south side of New Street. They likely have early 19th-century features, with two window fronts and modern roughcast exterior. The buildings display late Georgian doorcases, with No 31 featuring engaged columns, a pulvinate frieze, and panelled reveals surrounding a six-panel door that has fielded upper panels. Nos 17 to 23 (odd), along with Nos 31, 33, and 43, form a group.
