Description

Number 50 on New Street is an early 18th-century building that has been altered. It is two stories high with a rendered front and features four first-floor sash windows, which now only have central glazing bars, including one blank panel. The building has red brick chimneys with moulded caps and an inserted shop window. A slate door hood is supported by early 18th-century carved brackets, while the door itself is modern. Number 50 is part of a group that includes Nos 48, 48A, 72, 80, 82, the Baptist Chapel, and Nos 90, 92, 110, 112, and 130.
