Description

17 and 19 New Street are a pair of buildings likely dating from the early 19th century. They are two storeys high and feature three first-floor sash windows with exposed frames and glazing bars. The exterior is finished with stippled rendering, and there is an eaves cornice supported by widely spaced ogee brackets. The buildings have two arched entrances, each with moulded architraves. Together with Nos 17 to 23 (odd) and Nos 31, 33, and 43, they form a group of buildings of architectural interest.
