Description

No. 20 Market Street is a building dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a string course at the second floor. The roof is old and tiled, with a western coped gable end. The building has three storeys and one window, which is an early 19th-century casement with glazing bars. The first-floor window has a cambered head lining. The ground floor has an advanced 19th-century shop front, complete with a cornice and pilasters, although the glazing bars are missing. There is a door to the west that includes a fanlight.
