Description

No. 25 Market Street is an early 19th-century building constructed of red brick. It features a brick frieze beneath a stucco cornice and blocking course, with stucco bands at the sills of the first and second floors. The roof is modern and covered with pantiles. The building stands three storeys tall and has two windows with incised stucco lintels that include keystones, showcasing late 19th-century glazing. The ground floor has a mid-19th-century shop front characterized by pilasters and a cornice, although only the vertical glazing bars remain. There is a central door topped by a rectangular fanlight.
