Description

34A Market Street is an early 19th-century building featuring a red brick facade and a hipped slate roof. It stands three storeys tall and has two windows on the western end facade and two on the northern facade. The windows are sashes with glazing bars and have incised lintels with keystones. The ground floor shop front was altered in the late 19th century and includes fluted pilasters, although the western end has been filled in. The rear, or southern facade, has a large brick plinth with irregularly placed windows and a loft door located under the eaves.
