Description
38A Church Trees is an early 19th-century building that stands three stories tall. It is constructed of red brick and covered with pantiles, featuring a hipped roof. The building has two dormer windows, although the parapet has been removed. It includes three windows with rusticated flat stone arches. The ground and first-floor windows have intersecting glazing bars in the upper half and are hinged to open inwards, while the second-floor windows are hung sashes. The entrance features a doorcase adorned with reeded pilasters, shaped brackets, and a hood. This property is part of a group that includes Nos. 38A to 41 and Nos. 5, 42, and 45 Swinegate.
