Description

41 Church Trees is a 18th-century building constructed of red brick with a mansard roof featuring three dormers and pantiles. It has a stone plinth and a brick band between the storeys. The building includes three windows with flush frames and glazing bars. On the ground floor, there are late 18th-century bay windows on either side of the door, which has a doorcase with reeded pilasters, shaped brackets, a dentilled cornice, and a hood. The mansard roof appears to have been raised, likely at the same time as the addition of the bay windows.

This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 38A to 41 (consecutive) and Nos. 5, 42, and 43 Swinegate.
