Description

No. 5 Swinegate is a building with origins in the 17th century, featuring later window designs. It stands two storeys tall and is constructed from coursed rubble. The building has a steep pantile roof and a plinth. There are four windows on the upper floor, which have flush frames and hung sashes with glazing bars. The ground floor includes two similar windows with flat stone arches, along with a modern three-light window. To the right, there is a modern door and window. No. 5, along with Nos. 38A to 41 Church Trees, forms a group.
