Description

Nos. 44 and 45 Swinegate are early 19th-century buildings. They have a brick-tiled roof and a later dormer window. The buildings are three stories high with three windows each. They feature a rusticated flat stone archway and glazing bars in the windows. The front door has a similar stone archway above it, with a rectangular fanlight and panelled sides. To the right of the front door is a passage arch, constructed of flat brick with a stone keystone. A door scraper is also present. Nos. 42 to 45 form a group.
