Description

No. 34 on Market Street is an early 19th-century building featuring a rendered facade, an eaves band, and a slate roof. It stands two storeys high and has two barred sash windows. The ground floor includes a 19th-century shop front on the eastern side, while the central entrance has a door topped with a rectangular fanlight. The windows have vertical glazing bars only. An entablature runs across the building, complete with a cornice, scrolled edges on the frieze, an architrave, and pilasters. On the eastern side, there is an early 19th-century canted bay window that also features glazing bars.
