Description

No. 13 on Saturday Market is a mid-18th century building that stands two storeys high with attics. The front is rendered and lined, topped with a pantile roof featuring a gabled sliding casement dormer that includes glazing bars. On the first floor, there is a near flush frame sash window also with glazing bars. The ground floor features a wooden bow shop window and an entrance that has a divided fanlight set in a wooden case, which is adorned with pilasters and an entablature. Inside, there is a very simple unmoulded newel staircase.
