Description

No 8 on Saturday Market is an early to mid-19th century building. It stands three storeys high, constructed from brown brick and topped with a slate roof featuring widely spaced eaves brackets. The facade has three windows with rendered lintels and no glazing bars. The central window on the first floor is adorned with a cornice supported by console brackets, situated below a recessed panel with a wreath design. On the ground floor, there are two windows alongside a modern doorway, which is framed by plain pilasters, an entablature, and a cornice. The door consists of six fielded panels and is topped by a rectangular fanlight.
