Description

No. 16 Market Street is an early 19th-century building that projects into the street, surrounded by shop fronts of adjacent buildings to the east. It features a stucco exterior, an eaves cornice, and a hipped slate roof. The building has three storeys and one window on the front, which is a sash window with glazing bars. The ground floor has an altered 19th-century shop front that includes a cornice and carved consoles, extending around the side. On the western side facade, there are two windows, including a round arched sash window at the north end on both the first and second floors.
