Description
The Shoulder of Mutton public house dates from the late 18th or early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick with an eaves cornice and a slate roof. The building is three storeys high with two windows. The windows are barred sashes with incised stucco lintels and keystones. The eastern ground floor window features pilasters and a cornice above three lights, including arched side lights and a flattened centre arch, although the glazing is now modern. The central doorway has pilasters, a flat canopy supported on brackets, and six-panelled doors. The building forms part of the same structure as number 3.
