Description
Kilwardby House, dating from the early 19th century, features a stucco facade with a plinth, eaves cornice, and blocking course. The facade has stucco bands at the sill heights of the first and second floors and consists of three storeys. The symmetrical facade of Kilwardby House includes three windows, with two full-height bow windows flanking a central window, all of which are barred sashes. The advanced round-arched central porch has panelled reveals and a moulded architrave leading to a modern door. Nos 23 and 25, which are part of the same building, each have one window, generally three-light and unbarred sashes. No 23 features a door with a rectangular fanlight and a flat canopy, while No 25 has a window that has been inserted in a former doorway, which still retains its round arch with a moulded archivolt, keystone, and pilasters.
