Description

This is a late 18th or early 19th century building located on Wood Street, composed of two distinct parts united under a single slate roof. The western section is two or three stories high, built of red brick. A stucco band runs along the first floor. It has two windows; the eastern window is a three-light design with later 19th-century glazing. The western windows are boxed sashes with segmental arches and glazing bars. The eastern section is three stories high, also with two windows, featuring sashes with segmental arches and glazing bars. A prominent Doric doorcase frames the main entrance, featuring panelled reveals, a flat canopy supported by tall brackets, a frieze with triglyphs, and engaged fluted pilasters. The entrance has a six-panelled door and a fine rectangular fanlight above. A garage door is located on the east side, and a round arched entrance provides access to the rear of the building.
