Description

This is an 18th or early 19th century timber-framed and plastered house, located on Church Street. It has a gabled south end and a long, sloping rear roof with shared bargeboards. The west front has two window bays, featuring double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. Number 54A has a corner entrance flanked by two small 19th-century shop windows. Numbers 54A, 54, and 56 form a group with number 11.
