This is an early 19th century timber-framed house with plastered walls. It is two storeys high and has a two-window front, featuring double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. The roof is slate and hipped, with a central square chimney stack. Wellingham forms a group with numbers 59 and 44 to 54 (even) on the High Street.
