Description
No 12 on Normandy Street is an 18th-century building that stands two storeys high with an attic and is three bays wide. It is constructed from colour-washed brick and features a tiled mansard roof. The ground floor has a central doorcase with a pediment from the late 18th century, which contains a modern door. To the left and right of the door, there are single bay windows that extend through both the ground and first floors. The ground floor windows have been altered into shop windows, while the first-floor windows are casements with their heads integrated into the roofline. There is also a single pedimented dormer window. No 12 is part of a group with Nos 12, 14, 14A, and 16, with the latter three being of local interest.
