Description

The Crown Hotel is an early 19th-century building located on the northwest side of High Street. It is two storeys high and four bays wide, with a stuccoed exterior and a tiled roof. The ground floor features two sash windows on the left, a central door framed by a 19th-century surround, and three additional windows that have been altered. The first floor has four sash windows and is topped with a bracketed eaves cornice. The Crown Hotel, along with Nos 4 to 10 (even) and No 1 on the opposite side, forms a cohesive group of buildings.
