Description

The Railway Hotel is an early 19th-century building located on the east side of High Street. It features engraved stucco and stands three storeys tall, with five sash windows that are set in moulded and shaped dog-eared architraves. The building has sill bands and the ground storey is rusticated to imitate stone. It is topped with a parapet and has a hipped tile roof. The ground storey includes later 19th-century or modern sash windows with glazing bars and semi-circular heads, along with an altered doorway at the center. There is also a painted brick bay with one window on the left-hand side.
