Description

The Northwick Arms Hotel is an early to mid-19th century building. It is constructed of painted brick and stucco, arranged over three storeys. The ground storey is rusticated, with chamfered quoins at the sides. A slight central projection, featuring one window, is topped with a pediment. There are seven sash windows in total, each with keyblocks and channelled lintels. The ground storey contains several renewed tripartite windows, two plain doorways with rectangular fanlights (one plain), and four-panelled divided doors. Cornice hoods, supported by console brackets, are positioned above the doorways. The building has bold moulded wood eaves and a hipped slate roof.
